§ 19-185. Extensions to residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions.

  • The entire cost of extending underground electrical service to subdivisions shall be borne by the developers. Underground electric service shall be required in all subdivisions. Developers shall pay the full costs of system expansion including all associated engineering costs. An estimate will be made prior to development and given to the developer. The developer shall submit payment of the estimated cost prior to extension of services. Upon completion of extension an actual determination of cost of the extension shall be made. The developer shall be refunded if actual cost is less than the prior cost estimated. However, if the actual cost is above the estimated cost, the developer shall submit the difference to the city.
